Level 2

SVQ in Heating and Ventilating Ductwork Installation

Based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS), the Level 2 qualification enables those working in this sector to develop the knowledge and skills required to demonstrate competence, and importantly, compliance in their job role.

Level 3

Heating and Ventilating Ductwork Planning & Installation.

As with the Level 2 qualification, the Level 3 is based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and covers installing, testing, inspecting and cleaning industrial and commercial heating and ventilating ductwork systems.

Level 2 – GT0F 04

SCQF Level 5: Ventilation Hygiene Certificate

This qualification has been developed for people who clean Industrial and commercial ventilation systems, and should have their skills and knowledge certificated, against the National Occupational Standards, for future competence and compliance requirements.

Level 2 – GT1F 04

SCQF Level 5: Fire and Smoke Damper Certificate

Based on the BSEFSD National Occupational Standards (NOS), this qualification has been developed for those who inspect fire and smoke dampers, carrying out pre-commissioning checks and tests. It also offers an additional upskilling route in the decommissioning and the installation of fire and smoke dampers, offering competence and compliance for any renewal work within the ventilation system.

Level 2 – GT1E 04

SCQF Level 5: Installation of Fire Resisting Ductwork and Ventilation Systems

Based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS), this qualification has been developed for those who install and inspect fire resisting ductwork and ventilation systems, carrying out pre-commissioning checks and tests. It also offers an additional upskilling route in the decommissioning and installation of other ventilation systems and components.

Level 2

Industrial and Commercial Heating and Ventilating Pipework Systems Qualification

Based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS), this qualification has been approved by the Standard Setting Body who have instructed SKILLcard to issue any successful candidate with a Blue CSCS SKILLcard to help them prove their competence and compliance for their working role.

This standard is for people who install and test industrial and commercial heating and ventilating pipework systems. The person performing this work must be able to comply with the correct procedures and practices for installing and testing industrial and commercial heating and ventilating pipework systems.
